I don't post my own stuff in the Mint, but the Parlor seemed like a different place. Three years ago, I restored a bench vise my father gave me. Yesterday, I finally wrote it up and posted some pictures. Three kids later apparently means three years later too.

My dad has an antique vice that belonged to my grandpa that would be a perfect candidate for this kind of restoration.
I was hoping you would have used the electrolysis method just to see that in action. BUT, I guess your concern for family safety was warranted... :)
