Review: WildCard Multi Tool

Today we’re reviewing the WildCard, a slim, light multitool that is meant to slide into your wallet. It’s literally almost as thin as a credit card.

We’ve seen a lot of minimal, pocket and wallet ready knives come on the market recently. The good people at WildCard were kind enough to send Brian and I our own versions of the knife, and it’s a great addition to your everyday carry. It’s slim and lightweight, but it still feels sturdy. The bottle opener works well, the blade folds out nicely (and can be removed) and locks into place well. The whole thing feels really well put together.

This comes as no surprise, as the people behind WildCard have also made the successful PocketMonkey, a utility tool for your wallet.

The only negative thing I can say about the WildCard is that you really can’t just slip it into your pocket. The blade folds in nicely, but it’s still super sharp and there’s always a chance you’ll catch your finger or pocket on it. It really is meant for a wallet. It’s also a great tool to stash in the glove box of your car if you’re not wanting to keep it on your person all the time.

Conclusion: We definitely recommend the WildCard. Small, lightweight, and sturdy EDC.
