Just like how the Ford Fusion looks like a cheap Aston Martin.
Why is Ford using the same grill shape of their former owned luxury lines?

It's analogous to brand recognition. The Aston Martin grill has an identity to it, for performance and luxury. Emulating it serves to draw in customers.
