I believe it is having a family, most of all a father, who is willing to train up their children from an early age with a work ethic and both the academic and social skills needed for success. Playing any type of racial card without acknowledging the importance of family and fathers, is significantly missing the point.
I also think Malcom Gladwell's book Outliers would be an excellent read for anyone whose interest is piqued by this link.
You may not like what I said, but that's ok, it's only my opinion.

Actually like very much what you said Chet! Outliers is a great read and fathers and family don't usually get enough credit. It's easy to look for quick wins out there in the world, but family and fathers being fathers (not absent parents) is a strong foundation.

Agreed. Outliers is a tremendous read. Actually almost anything by Gladwell is.
