    I agree with most on the list but I would rank them a little differently. Putting Neil Peart at #3 is absurd as he has probably had the most influence on rock drummers. He and Bonham were definitely the top two for me when I first started playing in the 70s. But all of the drummers on the list have merit in their respective styles. Also, all but three were trained in or influenced by jazz.

    Ginger Baker probably could have gone down in history as the greatest of all time if he wasn't absolutely mad. I recommend checking out 'Beware of Mr. Baker' on Netflix if you like documentaries on rock musicians. It's amazing he is still alive.
