The whole purpose of the "separation of powers" government we have was so that each branch COULD oversee the others and no one branch of government would become too powerful. "The Federalist Papers" should be required reading for every freshman Representative and Senator.

Pastor Burke, I agree, however it goes beyond that even. Our government needs to be held to our constitution. They need to be held to there word, promises. They need to do what they were voted on to do, and if not, they get voted out of office. We the people need to collectively pull our heads out of our anal sphincters. We have our heads so far up there, we have now started to suffer oxygen deprivation as a country, because are obviously not thinking clearly.

I understand that there is information that the general public doesn't not need to be privy to, but we absolutely have the right to know if the government is acting illegally, immorally, or unscrupulously.

If you'd have donated to them, I'm sure they'd have remembered you. Or if you'd organized against them, but then the IRS noticing you isn't quite the same thing.
