I agree they should not be used and I have had the Flight Attendant remove them from a guy using them on my seat a while back. He pretended they were not there and then got all upset when the FA said, "Well I will just throw these away!" when she removed them. I paid for a reclining seat and I was not about to have some douche keep me from using it.
