Great mint. My daughter is almost three and I started her "camping" this fall by setting up the tent in field behind our barn. Close enough to the house that we could come back in, but far enough away that it seemed different to her little mind. She absolutely loved it and asks to go camping with daddy all the time now. I'm as excited as her, but winter weather camping will have to wait until she's older.
Yeah, have to say. My kids love camping. (2 and 6) - even if its just in the garden. A big adventure for them and we all get to stay up late and try and sing. better than any games console in my opinion.
Great post. Very helpful! Our son's first word was "outside" as he would grab for the doorknob or point us to go 'outside'. He is only three now but he spends every available hour outside rain, snow or shine. To a degree it influenced us to move out of the 'burbs and buy a large amount of land that we have loved exploring with our son. We have yet to go camping with him but will any night now.
