For as much maligned as Koch is, he's one of the main reasons that craft brewing is what it is today. I'll take a Boston Lager any day of the week.

A buddy and I got a pic with Jim Kock at a promo event at a bar. Nice guy, seemed down to Earth and outgoing.
Boston Lager was always my default beer if I ended up in some place that only had domestic macro-brews before the craft industry really got going.
