Pretty awesome DIY article. One of the worst parts of camping (or coolers in general) is having the melted ice turn anything that's not plastic into a soggy mess. (There's always some jabroni who leaves a cardboard box of something in the cooler overnight.)
Anyway, if you've got extra PVC pipe laying around, it's a great way to make good use of it.

Not gonna lie, I had to Google "jabroni" to know what it meant. Will add that to my vocabulary now.

I'll have to try this out with my Ozark Trail High Performance Cooler, but to be honest, I haven't had much problems with melting ice since buying that sucker. It will hold it's own against a Yeti cooler any day of the week.

They have been eating Yeti's lunch in terms of value for price. I know Yeti makes a great product, but it's hard to justify buying it when you can buy something nearly the equivalent for a fraction of the price.

Try Rtic. About the same price as Ozark with better quality.

I saw those while doing a search on Amazon for the Ozark Trail cooler (which is only distributed by Walmart, I think). The Rtic stuff looks pretty good too.
