If a show is never remembered, did it ever really happen? Yes MTV should rename itself but I understand why they don't. I called on MTV Networks for years. Really nice folks. "MTV Networks" runs the following cable channels: BET, TV Land, CMT, Nickelodeon, MTV (of course), Comedy Central, VH1, Spike, and I'm sure a few others. They are owned by Viacom but the work in such a fashion as MTV Networks gets to work as its own entity. MTV is the brand internally and it would be a huge shakeup if they were to change that name at all.
