Bummer. Kind of liked him. Not that I'm advocating his behaviour but something about creatively getting around "the man" has always appealed to me.

We didn't have a Trader Joes in KCMO, so two of my friends started a business where they would take orders online from people, then drive a reefer truck to St. Louis, but the HUGE order there and then bring it back and distribute it at a central location at a small mark up. I got boondoggled into driving that truck one morning when I thought I was doing a ride along. Trader Joes eventually opened stores here and their business model was gone, but it was good fun and money while it lasted.
