If you're ever in Austin, I highly recommend taking the time to stand in line at Franklin's. I've done it. It is the best brisket I've ever tasted. Louis Mueller's is a good second along with La BBQ, also in Austin. Here in my town of Argyle, Texas we have 407 BBQ just down the road in Justin. Damn good. He's taken a page from Franklin's book and made really, really good brisket.
