This is the best method to avoid tick bites. If you don't think it is important, just remember there is a tick-born allergy that prevents you from eating most meat. Personally, I'm not willing to give up beef just because I "thought" some DEET spray might work.

I had no idea that ticks were responsible for keeping people from eating meat. I hate them *that much more* now.
