The James Brand is a manufacturer that we’ve not featured yet here on the Reserve, and it is a crime. The James Brand is a Portland-based knife maker, and while they make some excellent blades, they also make other everyday carry tools that are rugged, minimalistic and beautiful.

None more so than the Benton, a sturdy pen built with 304 stainless steel and laser etched for a precise grip pattern. The cartridge twists off to reveal the Schmidt 900 ink cartridge (refillable), and the top features a lanyard.
