NES Classic Edition

Hot on the heels of the wild success of Pokémon Go, Nintendo is releasing the console that started it all, the NES. But they're doing it with a twist.

For starters, the console connects to your TV with an HDMI input, and can utilize your Wii Remote for playing Virtual Console games. Also, the box itself is much smaller than the older generation, fitting inside of your palm. The controller looks much the same as the classic rectangle version. (This controller ruined me for the future versions of game controllers with more than two buttons.)

The machine comes pre-packed with 30 games No more blowing inside of the machine to get the cartridges to work properly. And the best part: the console will only cost $59.99.

The system will become available November 11th, 2016, just in time for the holidays.
