Flight crew of the Stump Jumper. My great uncle Joseph Theiss at the time of the picture was pilot. He was later promoted to be squadron commander and his co-pilot took over. Unfortunately that crew was shot down just a few missions later. Half of the men died and rest were captured and held in a POW camp.
