You’ve always been told that you have a good head on your shoulders, but imagine if you could carry an extra one around…that plays music. Jarre technologies, founded by world-renowned composer Jean Michel Jarre just came out with a new iconic speaker shaped like a skull, and aptly named Aeroskull ($520). Although it’s not as impressive as your own cranium, these unique speakers come in 11 loud colors and make a great addition to any of your homes. In addition to the 15 Watt speakers that are hidden under some sunglasses, the Aeroskull also has a 40 Watt Sub Woofer that’s tucked away in the back of the skull and 1% THD (Total Harmonic Distortion). The Speakers are compatible with all generations of iPhones and iPods and have a jack cable that can connect to any Mp3 player, computer or CD/DVD player. Bluetooth simplifies connection to any smartphone and the listening experience is optimized by the APTX codecs. The skull’s design is inspired by the cover art of Jean Michel Jarre’s first album, Oxygene which sold 15 million copies around the world.
