Pin it! In the Bible, David was oppressed and hunted down without reason by King Saul. Since there was no higher earthly power than the king, David made his appeal to Heaven. Our forefathers did the same thing when they were wrongfully oppressed by King George. Today, we can appeal to heaven when the government refuses to abide by the rule of law.
