Very cool little scanner. Got mine in April 2013 and been using it every day since then. I most like it for the weather alerts. We get tornados in my neck of the woods so it’s nice to know the moment the spotters spot something. It can give you a couple extra min to prepare.
I have no idea if this would be something a police officer or fireman would use but it works for someone like me who’s just wanting to stay informed and keep his family that much safer.
