We are still awaiting the arrival of a hover board like the one seen in the Back to the Future franchise, but skateboarding and technology still likes to mix it up in other ways. Take the E-Go Cruiser ($700) for example, an electronically powered skater than can be controlled remotely via a dedicated control. The rechargeable battery is good for around 18 miles or 3.5 hours of travel and even charges a little while under braking. The remote control is tiny and light and lets you guide yourself seamlessly through the urban sprawl or the skate park. To top it all off, the E-Go Cruiser looks fantastic too, with a kind of 70´s chic to it.
