Eero Saarinen is one of my personal heroes. When I heard they were turning one of his last great works into a hotel, I was pretty worried about what would happen with it. I'm glad it appears hundreds of thousands of people will still get to experience and appreciate one of his most ambitiously conceived and executed works, while preserving the most important parts of it and paying homage to that bygone era.
