"Marc Sicard‘s Naja improves on the classic hammer design; a metal head to hit nails with a softer side for adjusting and a nail extractor at the bottom that now gets extra leverage from the handle at the other end – all wrapped in shock absorbing plastic. For Sicard Naja was a clean slate project, redesigning conventional objects from scratch he looked at the hazards of conventional hammers, the separation of head from handle, vibrations from the shocks, bruises on fragile materials when adjusting. The result is a smarter hammer, more comfortable to use, more efficient and safer."
