Pin it! I admit that as a Christian, I may be biased towards this film. However, the grandeur of its scope coupled with its deeply compelling personal narrative more than justify the chariot-load of academy awards it won. It even holds up well technically in some respects; sure the sea battle looks fake, but the chariot race looks just as authentic as anything done with CG today.
