We are proud to begin our voyage with an historical article which has, in fact, never been so modern!

Historical because their origin dates back to the thirteenth century when they were worn by foot soldiers of the King of Aragon, as testament to their hardinesss. Towards the end of the nineteenth century, miners adopted them as they were as comfortable as they were durable. Espadrilles were traditionally made in ecru or black, two tones we still see today.
