I was never a big gun hunting guy, never seemed as sporting or gave the rush that bow-hunting does. Last year I went as a guest to shoot trap at a local gun club...I'm hooked! If you enjoy the outdoors and competition, I strongly recommend trying this out. This is a great basic overview of the different types of clay pigeon shooting.

I tried sporting clays for the first time a couple of years ago while on a trip and loved it. Wish we had a range where I live.
