Funny how small a town San Diego was back then. I met David when I was 'honorary bat boy' thanks to a contest from Milk Duds. I remember thinking how lucky he was to be a real bat boy because he got to hang out with Tony Gwynn. Glad to know I was right.
I still have the ball that Tony signed. I will treasure it always.
