Wow. What a blatant example of cherry picking statistics, then comparing apples to elephants. I don't think the Brady's could have twisted facts any better.
I don't think that saying 'murder capital my ass, Somalia, Honduras, and East Timor all beat us' really helps the cause. Unless this guy believes that we're no better than Honduras. (Spoiler, the US is a MUCH superior country to Honduras.)
Takeaway is that if Detroit were its own country, it would come in second for murder rate. That's something right there.
