Pretty awesome that you can build this for around $100 AND you learn something at the same time.

Thanks man. The external USB DACs were $100 and up. Some of the fancy ones were $200-$300. I'm sure they sound amazing but this little DAC really cuts it too. Good, clear sound for a good price.

Just wanted to pipe in once more and say that this is my favorite Raspberry Pi project so far. It sounds excellent. Cranking some Pandora right now and loving it.
Next project looks like I'm going to try to put a touchscreen computer in my car using a Raspberry Pi.
