If you've ever been to Graceland, it is preserved in 70's Elvis decadence. Totally fascinating. And it's not as big as you'd think.

I've been to Graceland a couple of times. I was never that into Elvis' music, but seeing his house, I got an appreciation for his style. Everything is just incredibly overdone and weird, but cool. And yeah, I was expecting this crazy mansion and it is really quite modest from a size perspective.

One of the first CDs I bought, because my favorite couple cassettes were stretching, was an Elvis Greatest hits type cd. Some of his songs I liked a lot, but I appreciate/know Elvis more as a cultural icon, posthumously because of my age. As with many things that happened during his prominence, I can't really even fathom what it would have been like. 70's Elvis decadence really does conjure up an image.
I will check out Graceland in the future, thanks for the advice.
