A good review of a favorite local place that also has locations across the country?
Anyone else a First Watch aficionado? I pretty much have tried everything but am not a fan of their potatoes and wish they actually served traditional hash browns. My go to dish is either the Biscuits and Gravy with Eggs, or the Chickichanga. (though the new Vera Cruz sauce recipe is nothing like the original that I fell in love with)

Yep, we go to the one in Lawrence a few times a year. Always had good food and great service. I agree about the potatoes.
The Avocado Toast is really good, and despite being a thirty-something, I also really like their chocolate chip pancakes.

I've never had a bad meal there (I also agree about the potatoes). The last time I went the service was terrible, which is unusual because it is normally stellar.
