I agree with the statement, "When good men who will fight are all extinct, there is no more civilization." But there is certainly a difference between a man who WILL fight when necessary, and those who seek out a fight.
I've never been punched. But would I take to fisticuffs with someone threatening harm to my family or friends? Damn right I would.
