A Chinese family refused to sell their house to the Government who wanted to clear the way for a new highway construction. This is the result - the highway built anyway, with the house stuck in the middle of it

Did the Chinese government that displaced millions of people to build a dam and regularly commits human rights violations just say "We give up... you win?" to that guy? I wonder if there is more to the story
