Never advertise what you do or do not have ( Why let a criminal prep) . A better option is to remove the soft target label from locations like churches, hospitals, and schools; let the unknown act as a deterrent .
There is a school in Texas outside Wichita Falls that has the policy of teachers and staff being armed due to the fact they are so far away from any police station. It seems to work well for them. I agree with sherlock 03 though.
Well said Brady. If we expect even normal people to act rationally 100% of the time, then we're wrong. A "normal" person in a crazy moment with a gun in his hand is a dangerous combination.

Neither...the first already is on most campuses, and the second can't help when the shooter (most likely) goes in knowing he will kill himself anyway.
