Aptly named for the Greek god of blacksmiths, metal and fire – Daryl Villanueva’s latest concept is a bike shaped from raw stainless steel – no paint. While it features Honda’s factory rims and single swing arm, the front and rear disc brakes and suspension have been tweaked for optimum performance. A smaller muffler exposes the rear wheel, which when viewed from the left appears to float. A host of custom parts include a hand-stitched seat, handlebars, side covers and indicators doubling as brake lights. Those who know Bandit products get that each one makes a bold statement. With its in-your-face craftsmanship and smart lines, the Hephaestus says, “Ride with style.”
