I saw the guy and elephant on the 'net and loved the picture. So I painted it. I saw it as an allegory to life in general, then I added the woman and child to complete the allegory to family life, Husband and fatherhood. There is A Lot more to family than having a wife and child. The "A Lot" is represented by the elephant. There is mucho upkeep to one of those.
