People that are against this remake should be reminded that in effect, Logan's Run was an effective re-envisioning of Aldous Huxley's "Brave New World"
And... Logan's Run was also somewhat remade (and retitled) back in 2005 as "The Island" starring Ewan McGregor and Scarlett Johansson.

I'm interested to see how it turns out, but I don't envision myself clamouring to get choice seats at the cinema for this movie.
