Idk.. For most part, I think it is. But in Hawai'i, every now and then we see seasoned watermen bringing their tiny infants into REALLY big waves when they surf…That is definitely more dangerous but nothing has ever happened. I feel like if this was real, it would be the users that make it unsafe… not the product itself. Skateboarders who have ridden for the entire lives would love these and wouldn't have a problem…its but it would be that ONE GUY who shouldn't even be on a board by himself that would be an issue.
