Now we need a story about brown widows. Some time ago I saw a story on the news about brown widows and how they had come as far north as Orange County (CA). The very next day I found one in our yard in the western San Fernando Valley. My son caught it and we had a grand time checking out the fact that it does, in fact, have the red hour glass on it's abdomen.
