Decent voice but I would not use the word "musician" to describe her or anything about this song. For me, a musician is someone who knows how to actually play a musical instrument. I do not hear a single musical instrument in this entire song (all computerized electronics). But she is an artist/vocalist/entertainer and at only 16, may have a very promising career ahead of her.
Just because she's not using traditional instruments to create the sounds doesn't mean no effort is being put in. People are so quick to dismiss electronic music because they simply don't understand the process.
I was not implying there was no effort put into it. She would not have a voice like that if she did not work towards it. And obviously someone with electronic skills created the sound to go with it.
Playing an instrument and assembling instrumental sounds electronically are two very different things. Both require talent. I view one as a skill and the other as more of an art form. Both have merit in their own right. The point I was trying to make is that the term "musician" applies to someone who plays a musical instrument.
