In Arkansas, there have been numerous sightings but little to no physical evidence. The Game & Fish here does not deny they exist but does not recognize them as an indigenous species. They believe most sightings are of big cats that were released by or escaped from a private owner.

We have big cats locally that the game and fish commission have been ignoring for decades...
