Love the 4K! But maybe some of these great deals are great deals because they could be outdated by new models being unveiled at CES. In my own shopping, I found that Toshiba thinks they can update any future improvement via firmware update. Samsung uses an external thingy which can be swapped out for improved HDMI specs, or whatever, for a nominal fee ($250 or so). I don't remember Sharp's update claim (maybe there was none) but the picture looks great. I think I'll wait to see what January brings before I dive in.
