We should never become accustomed to the ravages of war... But humanizing those scarred by the affects is a noble effort. We are blessed to be in a country where this is not the norm, but an awareness of loss is necessary in order to remember the cost at which we are free... I'm aware that not all of these individuals are scarred by battle, but the pictures show battles that take place somewhere other than Iraq or Afghanistan... Maybe only in the minds of those scarred... But nonetheless important, earth shattering battles that resonate in the souls of the affected. Warrior photos.
