Wow. Medical technology is advancing at an incredible rate. We need more funding for things like this. Too bad there are so many close-minded people who have the wrong idea about stem cell research.
Indeed. This technique uses the patient's own stem cells. I've not heard of any objections to adult stem cell research other than from scientists who insist on "harvesting" fetal cells for use, even though adult cells (especially the patient's own) usually respond much better.
