Why do the Democrats feel this is no big deal? I know Reid called it a right-wing conspiracy theory but there seem to be some very big questions that need to be answered. Surely they have a reason, right?
They know it's a big deal, the reason they act like it isn't and try to brush it off is because it's a cover-up. Remember, it took something like 6yrs (I don't remember exactly) for Nixon to quit after being initially busted. It takes years to uncover evidence and impeach...
My guess is that is demonstrates a severe lack of credibility on the part administration and foreign policy incompetence. Another option is that Benghazi is part of a larger something that they would rather not be accountable for: "operation zero footprint". The sale of arms to Al Qaeda, and a blown opportunity for a less violent transition of power in Lybia. I believe that the truth behind the situation will leave egg on the face of both the administration and the neo-cons in congress...not a great deal of difference between the two anyway, in my opinion. I don't care who goes down. I just want to know the truth in all things and let the chips fall where they may.
According to these guys, the lies that resulted in the death of 4 are worse than the lies that launched a war and killed/maimed thousands? Both situations had lies, but the result of one has had a much more profound loss of life. Please explain the disproportionality of anger towards Benghazi? Why weren't people brought to task for their lies, people like Graham, Rumsfeld, Cheney (not in any particular order). I'm not saying that wrong doing in the Benghazi case don't need to be dealt with, but where was the outrage from Graham and the like for Iraq?
