I have started making a lot of our own furniture (dining room table, book shelves, step stools, bunk beds) for one because we couldn't afford to buy those things at the store, and two because it keeps me out of my wife's hair. We have LOVED what has come out of the work. We have saved so much money, and we get to make things the way we want them to be. It has been awesome.
