VERY cool for a four-year-old! But they will really regret this when he's a teenager. Extra fun points since we refer to our son as The Boy or Boy (Like the kid Tarzan and Jane found in the old Johnny Weissmuller movies.).
I built a secret door that leads to the space under the stairs. The door is disguised as a built-in bookcase in the back of the closet. It won't open unless you know which book to pull.
