My favourite is still the Granny Smith. But I too, would not be sad to see the Red Delicious go away for good.

Seriously, does ANYONE like Red Delicious? I even remember as a kid thinking they were awful. I guess they've got the "red" part going for them... so there's THAt...

Yup. They don't have a skin, they have a hide! Too thick, chewy and tasteless.
