It's little more than a body kit slapped onto a Chevy Camaro. The Pontiac brand has not been revived. It does look good though, styled like the classic "banshee" nosed Firebirds of the 77-78 model years.
Meh,..loved the original Smokey and the Bandit TransAm but agree with macbaker on this. There have been companies for a while putting TransAm body kits on Camaros. I really wish that GM would develop a sports car for today and abandon reliving the old days. For all the work they have done with Corvette and as great as it is and looks it still is a 'creepy old dudes' car. The Camaro is great and is acceptable to guys like me that are having a 40's mid-life crisis. After for five years of use Camaro's of today will be used by the hillbillies in your local trailer park. I challenge GM to be what they once were and be bold. Let the old badges die and let their baggage die with them. Be bold like you once were in the 50's and 60's actually innovative.
(sorry if I have offended or stereotyped anyone in this post ;-) )
