Being a party-goer is easy: you show up, eat food, drink drink, have fun, and go home. Nice. But sometimes you need to return the favor, do your part and be a good guy. Sometimes, it's gotta be your turn to host.

"Everyone likes wine with good food." I disagree because I do not like wine at all. Guessing this is in there because the piece was sponsored by a wine brand. A choice of red and white wine is certainly good to have, but mostly for the ladies. You should also have plenty cold beer as that is likely what the majority of your male guests will migrate to. Additionally, have a small selection of non-alcoholic beverages available for those who do not drink and/or have volunteered to be a designated driver.
